ZILLOW.COM IS MY NEW BEST FRIEND

I like to see things completed. Just as I was ecstatic to visit Alaska on our 50th wedding anniversary, completing my quest to visit all 50 states, I am happy to announce that I just accomplished another goal.

With a title for this blog post starting with the letter Z, I have now written blog posts with titles beginning with all 26 letters of the English alphabet. As in visiting Alaska, I saved the best for last.

While it took 50 years to see all 50 states, it only took me eight years of writing blog posts to come up with titles using each letter of the alphabet. Each of them was a fun mission in its own way. Silly, maybe, but fun.

Another enjoyable time-killer is logging in to check the housing market. Just go to Zillow.com. It’s not only the way I came up with a blog post starting with the letter “Z,” from Zillow, but following trends in home sales can be interesting and informative. Seeing the housing prices in the neighborhood continue to rise and watching the closing prices after major bidding wars is alluring.

Also, clicking to view the videos showing inside the houses offers free decorating tips gathered from the various ways the properties are staged for sale. The ideas also include current color scheme trends.

Maybe my goal to finish the alphabet stems from singing the A, B, C’s to our young grandchildren on FaceTime. Who knows?
